system design and signal processing of active microwave sensors (radar altimeter, imaging radars, scatterometer) as well as computational electromagnetics.

Work Experience
He joined the Center for Space Science and Applied Research (the name has been changed to National Space Science Center (NSSC) since July, 2016), Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995. He became an associate professor in 1997 and a full professor in 1999, respectively. He is currently with the Key Lab of Microwave Remote Sensing and NSSC, CAS,  as a full professor. 

He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea, from April to December 1998, and worked as a visiting research assistant professor at the University of Illinois, USA, from February 2001 to February 2002.
