长期从事环境生物地球化学方面的研究,包括:非点源污染过程和模拟,区域水环境地球化学,稀土元素环境生物地球化学。

1998年至今,在中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所做博士后出站后留所。2006年美国农业部USDA-ARS高级访问学者。现任所理化分析中心主任,环境地理与人类健康研究室副主任。
