1981年: 澳大利亚阿德雷德大学植物病理系, 访问学者, 从事病毒卫星RNA研究。 
1985年: 德国杜赛尔多夫大学生物物理研究所, 访问学者、客座教授, 从事卫星RNA温度梯度电泳研究。 
1990年: 美国马里兰大学农业生物技术中心和维斯康辛大学遗传系, 访问教授, 进行病毒卫星RNA的学术交流。 
1993年: 英国苏格兰作物所病毒系, 访问教授, 进行抗病毒生物工程的技术交流。
