研究方向：珍稀食药用真菌活性次生代谢产物化学
从事天然产物化学的研究工作。利用各种活性筛选方法结合现代色谱、光谱技术对我国多种特色天然药物资源（包括传统中药和民族药，海洋生物和食药用真菌）进行化学研究，获得了300余个天然产物（包括新结构的抗肿瘤先导化合物Lissoclibadins），为创新药物的研发提供了备选化合物，并为研究生物的互作和环境适应机制提供了化学分子探针。
近五年主要科研成果：
1：药用真菌鸟巢菌次级代谢产物的化学与生物活性研究
鸟巢菌中的若干种为药用真菌，可健脾止痛、消食化积、治胃病止胃痛(图1)。目前已完成了一株黑蛋巢菌（编号L38的非洲黑蛋巢菌）大米固体发酵产物的化学成分研究，分离得到38个鸟巢烷类二萜(图2)，并开展了抗炎、抗菌和抗肿瘤活性成分研究(图3)。部分研究结果已发表在Fitoterapia，2013，84, 22-31。
2：腐生、共生真菌新结构活性化合物
从西藏金耳共生的毛韧革菌获得19个新结构倍半萜，包括４个倍半萜杂合二聚体，４个多毛烷型倍半萜二聚体，2个三聚体，多靶点活性筛选发现化合物Sterhirsutins E-G具有较强的细胞毒活性；Sterhirsutin K具有自噬活性；Sterhirsutin G具有免疫抑制活性（Org. Lett. 2014, 16, 5092；Org. Lett. 2015, 17，3098）。从高寒腐生粘褶菌获得3个具有细胞毒活性的新骨架甾体化合物 (Org. Lett. 2015, 17，2538)。 
3：猴头菌降糖活性成分研究
从西藏猴头菌发现11个新结构的异吲哚琳酮化合物，部分化合物显示了较好的α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制活性（IC50, 5-25 μM）和PPARα、γ受体激动活性（EC50, 0.06-2.17μM）（J. Nat. Prod.2015, 1, 146）。构效关系分析表明：苯环上的烷烃侧链和酚羟基是活性必须基团。
