Introduction

I received the B.S. and Ph.D degrees from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 1997 and 2005, respectively. And, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Advanced Micro and Nanosystems Laboratory at the University of Toronto from Oct.2005 to Mar. 2008.   I was a Visiting Scholar with the Micro/Nanofluidic BioMEMS Group at RLE of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from Oct.2015 to Jan.2016.


I am currently with the State Key Laboratory of Transducer Technology at the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an Associate Professor.

My research interests include integrated microfluidic devices for water quality monitoring such as total phosphorus microsensors, total nitrogen microsensors, heavy metal ions sensors, and pretreatment methods such as thermally assisted UV digestion, preconcentration methods based on ion-liquid extraction and ion concentration polarization. I also have research experiences in MEMS-based device arrays for studying cellular mechanobiology, and piezoelectric microsensors and microactuators.
