       1980年生于福建霞浦。本科毕业于厦门大学,2011年获香港大学博士学位,之后在美国哈佛大学分子与细胞生物学系做博士后,2014年回国工作。

       现任中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院副院长,定量合成生物学重点实验室(中国科学院)主任,国家生物制造产业创新中心主任,深圳合成生物研究重大科技基础设施首席科学家。

       主要从事定量合成生物学研究,聚焦复杂生物系统形成过程的基本原理,合成生物系统的理性设计原理等重要科学问题开展工作。

       先后主持“国家杰出青年基金”“基金委重点项目”“国家重点研发计划””中国科学院战略科技先导专项”等科技任务。曾获“谈家桢生命科学创新奖”“安捷伦思想领袖奖”“中国科学院青年科学家奖”等奖项。
