Research Areas

Chemical proteomics and quantitative proteomics

Education

Dr. Nan Li obtained his bachelor degree of Chemical Biology from Xiamen University in 2007, and then went to Leiden University in the Netherlands to continue his study. He graduated with the PhD diploma in 2013, under the supervision of Professor Herman Overkleeft, focusing on the development and application of chemical proteomics methods.

Experience

At the beginning of 2014, Dr. Nan Li moved to EMBL Heidelberg in Germany to work on the interface of quantitative proteomics and cell biology as an EIPOD fellow for Jeroen Krijgsveld and Rainer Pepperkok, with the support from Marie Curie Action. Since November 2016, he has been working in iSynBio, SIAT, to start his own lab using proteomics to study Synthetic Biology.
