研究领域
研究组长期以来从事光信息与功能材料的设计、合成、特性和应用研究,特别是在高效发光材料和纳米材料的制备与应用方面已经积累了大量的理论知识和实践经验,为开展光信息与功能材料的合成与特性研究和应用奠定了良好的基础。目前研究侧重于微/纳米材料的可控合成、有序组装与光信息与功能特性的研究以及白光LED、LCD、PDP等绿色照明与显示用高效发光材料的设计、合成与应用,相关研究内容体现在以下几个方面。
1. 微纳米材料的可控合成和光功能特性的研究
纳米材料由于其特有的量子尺寸效应、表面效应、小尺寸效应、量子隧道效应等而引起人们的广泛兴趣,微纳米材料的粒径大小、形态、结构与功能特性密切相关。因此,微纳米材料的可控合成与有序组装以及其特性的研究,是目前材料研究领域的重要方向。本研究结合材料的新型制备技术,发展特定形态与结构的微纳米材料的可控合成、有序组装与表面功能化技术,揭示它们的生长机理,获得具有我国自主知识产权的关键制备技术,研究它们的结构、形态、粒径大小与功能特性之间的相关性与规律以及提高性能的有效方法,探索它们在光电子、生物医学等领域应用的可能性,为微纳米材料的合成与工业化生产奠定良好的科学基础。
2. 纳米材料的应用
纳米材料以其自身所具有的特异性能而展示出广泛的应用前景,它的应用一直是人们广泛关注的研究课题。本研究在已制备出一系列纳米材料的基础上,探索所获纳米材料在相关领域中的应用。我们所制备的某些纳米材料已经被应用于高效发光材料、抛光材料、汽车尾气催化剂、背投电视等领域。
3. 新型高效发光材料的合成与光谱特性研究
高效发光材料广泛应用于信息显示与照明领域,它在光电子领域中占有重要地位。新型高效发光材料的探索与发展,是一项具有前瞻性的重要研究课题,它的发现与应用将有力地推动信息显示与照明产业的发展。因此,相关研究既具有重要的理论意义又具有长远的战略价值。本研究结合目前国际发光材料的前沿与热点,设计与合成新型高效白光LED、LCD、PDP等照明、显示、生物医学用高效发光材料,研究它们的光谱特性、能量传递、基质结构与光谱特性之间的内在规律,发展具有我国自主知识产权新型高效发光材料及其制备技术,探索它们的应用特性,为新型高效发光材料的应用奠定良好的基础。
我们通过大量的新材料设计与合成及其光谱特性的研究,获得了设计与合成发光材料的理论知识与实践经验,总结出PDP用荧光粉在真空紫外区基质吸收带位置的变化规律,发展了一些新型高效的发光材料,相关研究为新型高效发光材料设计与合成奠定了良好的基础。
4. 高效发光材料的制备技术的研究与应用
高效发光材料制备技术的发展和应用将极大地提高人民的生活质量,它对提升我国高技术产业的国际竞争力和稀土资源的高值化与综合利用具有重要的战略意义。因此,本研究结合高效发光材料在显示与照明领域的实际需要,系统地开展高效发光材料制备工艺的探索,发展高效的工业化生产的关键制备技术,进而获得具有我国自主知识产权的新型制备技术并推广应用于工业化生产。
我们通过大量的制备工艺研究,获得了用于稀土三基色荧光灯、彩色PDP、LCD、LED长余辉等用高效发光材料及其关键制备技术并实现了产业化。发展了上转换发光材料的关键制备技术,获得的高性能上转换换发光材料达到了世界先进水平,并将上转换材料做成红外激光显示卡用于红外激光探索,其具有亮度高、灵敏度高、探测范围宽等优点,已经广泛用于激光探测领域。目前,我们紧紧围绕当前国际发光材料的热点与前沿,结合国家的重大战略需求与白光LED的实际需要与发展趋势,与江苏博睿光电有限公司合作重点解决蓝光芯片激发的白光LED用高效黄色、绿色、红色发光材料生产过程中存在的关键科学与技术问题,发展它们的工业化制备技术,为白光LED用发光材料产业化提供理论与技术的支持。
