研究领域
材料的电磁过程是指在材料的成形过程中施加电磁场从而开发出新材料或新工艺的学科。它在冶金、半导体材料生长以及核、电工业中有着广泛的应用。所采用的电磁场从永磁磁场、感应磁场到超强磁场呈多样化,可利用的频率范围非常广。材料的电磁过程是一门交叉学科,它综合了电磁学、传热学、流体力学和金属等很多学科的知识,因此为这个学科的研究发展提供了高度的延展性。
2. 磁流体动力学 (Magnetohydrodynamics, MHD)
磁流体动力学 是研究磁场与导电流体之间相互作用的学科。磁场不仅对“人为”流体的流动产生影响,如对液态金属的加热、驱动、搅动和悬浮,这种影响也存在于自然界中,如地磁场维持了地心熔体的运动。一般来说导电流体包括液态金属、电离气体和强电解质等。磁场与流体的相互作用遵从法拉第和安培定律,所产生的的感应电流与磁场相互作用产生洛仑兹力作用于导电流体。
目前开展的主要研究方向有:
(1) 电磁测量;
(2) 新型磁场的开发与交叉学科应用;
(3) 导电流体的电磁测控技术;
(4) 受迫对流(磁场作用下)条件下金属熔体的凝固机制;
(5) 磁流体动力学基础与应用研究;
(6) 多物理场、多相耦合的数值模拟。
