Dr. Wei FENG is a professor at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research includes energy efficiency in buildings and energy system modeling. Dr. Feng has about 20 years of research experience in clean energy and low-carbon systems. He was a Research Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and was the building sector technical lead of the US Department of Energy’s Net Zero World Initiative. He has published over 90 scientific journal papers with more than 5000 citations and H index of 39. Dr. Feng has been actively collaborating with international institutes on clean energy research such as the International Energy Agency (IEA), United National Environmental Program (UNEP), the Danish Energy Agency (DEA), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) etc.

Dr. Feng obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Tongji University, Shanghai, and his Ph.D. in building energy systems from Syracuse University, NY.
