Research Areas

The research of our laboratory mainly involves plant molecular breeding and research on the function of new active compounds on plants. Using plant genetic engineering and gene editing technology, our research scope is mainly to breed new stress-tolerance forage, such as grasses and alfalfa; and to study the effect and mechanism of new environmentally-friendly active compounds on plant growth, such as the zhixiang-diol and a titanium ion preparation. At the same time, we also investigate the application of a variety of agricultural green inputs, and integrate high-efficiency eco-agriculture planting technologies to reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers and increase yield and quality.
