赵三根,博士、研究员、博士生导国家优秀青年基金获得者,福建省B类高层次人才,兼任中国晶体学会青年委员和中国光学光电子行业协会激光应用分会青年委员、《应用化学》青年编委、《Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry》青年编委,入选中国科协“青年人才托举工程”、福建省杰青、福建省"雏鹰计划"青年拔尖人才、中科院青促会优秀会员、中科院海西研究院团队百人计划、中科院海西研究院春苗青年人才专项等。

      2012年于中科院理化技术研究所获博士学位(导师:吴以成 院士),同年进入福建物构所工作。相关成果共发表第一/通讯作者SCI论文60余篇,含 J. Am. Chem. Soc.(6 篇)、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(9 篇)、Nat. Commun.(1 篇)、Sci. Bull. (1 篇)、Acc. Chem. Res.(1 篇)、CCS. Chem.(2 篇)、Coord. Chem. Rev(2 篇);授权发明专利20项,含美国专利1项,PCT国际专利2项;荣获2019年度福建省自然科学奖二等奖(第二完成人)和2018年入选Crystal Growth & Design 的 Emerging Investigators、2016年度福建省自然科学优秀学术论文一等奖(第一完成人);主持了国家优青项目、福建省重点项目、国家基金面上项目两项、国家基金青年项目、福建省杰青项目等,并作为学术骨干参与中国科学院战略性先导科技专项等,多次受邀在国内外学术会议做邀请报告。

围绕光子功能晶体方向非线性光学(NLO)晶体和双折射晶体等我国传统优势研究领域,聚焦量子通信、光刻、激光显示、光学频率梳等光量子信息领域对先进材料的前沿需求,取得了系列引领性创新研究成果:

a) "无铍"新思路:在国际上率先提出了"无铍"深紫外NLO晶体材料的创新思路,设计合成了系列新型无铍深紫外NLO晶体,其层间连接力相比现有实用晶体KBBF提高一个数量级以上,克服了KBBF晶体层状习性严重的难题。

b) "非π共轭"新概念:首次提出"非π共轭深紫外NLO材料"的概念,发展了其"局域极性诱导组装"策略,成功创制了多种性能优良的非π共轭深紫外NLO材料,开拓了氟磷硅酸盐等深紫外NLO材料新体系,并生长了英寸级单晶,为其实际应用奠定了基础。

c)光量子新应用:发现了多种超大双折射率晶体材料,并揭示了其性能增益的新机制,部分材料兼具优异的NLO性能,在量子通信、光子调制器、偏振光子器件、结构光场学等领域具有重大应用前景。
