  • 1996年至今工作于中国科学院南海海洋研究所从事珊瑚生物学和珊瑚礁生态学研究;

  • 20103~8月赴澳大利亚詹姆斯库克大学访问学者;

  • 2005年获中山大学生命科学院动物学专业理学博士学位;

  • 2003~2010年任中国科学院南海海洋生物标本馆馆长;

  • 2005年起担任全球珊瑚礁监测网(GCRMN)东亚国家协调员之一;
