Research Areas

Investigation on the scientific and technical issues on the surface/interface charateristics, the transport of photons/electrons/ions in optoelectronic materials and deives. The research mainly includes:

  1. Large area fabrication of micro/nano structures for Optronics

  2. Fabrication and fundamental characterization of novel thin film materials

  3. ​The industry techonology of high efficiency c-Si solar cells (HJT, TOPCon, PERC), modules and solar plant.

  4. The next generation passivating contact solar cells based on compound/c-Si heterojunction, and c-Si based tandem solar cells. Scientific issues, such as new materials, new process, new device configurations and the transport mechanism of photon/carriers, will be concerned.
