Research Areas
(1) Coordination polymerization and the catalyst for olefin polymerization. Research in this area is focused on the development of new transition metal catalysts (non-metallocene or metallocene-beyond) possessing living (co)polymerization characteristic, stero- or/and region-specific polymerization, or promising ability to copolymerize ethylene with functional monomers.
(2) Hyperbranched polymer synthesis and fuctionalization. Research in this area is focused on the development of the novel, cost-effective, facile and fast synthesis methods to hyperbranched polymers from commercial available monomers.
