研究领域

研究方向和研究兴趣:海洋孢粉、环境演变与生物响应、环境考古等。近年来主持国家自然科学基金面上项目4项,院开放基金2项,广州市科信局科研专项1项,参加国家自然基金重点项目2项和973项目1项。

长期以来一直从事南海和印度洋地区现代及钻孔沉积物孢粉的系统研究:(1)掌握了热带地区孢粉学的研究方法和思路,并探索了植硅体、炭屑等古环境研究手段在海洋中的应用,以及孢粉对海洋生态系统食物网的潜在影响。(2)在现代孢粉研究中,发现南海北部海底地形对其现代孢粉分布的影响很大:在南海北部和南部水深<200m 的样点里的现代孢粉是被河流及洋流传播的,而在北部水深>200m的样点里的孢粉是被风力传播的。东北印度洋及南海空气孢粉的种类和浓度与风向和采样位置有密切关系。(3)通过沉积孢粉的研究,发现南海南部巽他陆架东北部在末次冰盛期的植被主要是热带雨林。东北印度洋的孢粉来源在末次冰消期发生了巨大转换;末次冰消期以来的南亚季风与东亚季风都具有500 年的周期。
