Research Areas

①geochemistry on Mafic-ultramafic rocks and associated mineralization:

study the origin, evolution and mineralization of basaltic magma, focus on magma plumbing system, crust-mantle interaction and diversity of mineralization in Emeishan large igneous province.

②hydrothermal ore deposit geochemistry:

study ages of regional mineralization, the relationship between major geological events and regional metallogeny, and ore-forming dynamic background. The research focuses on sedmentary hosted Pb-Zn deposit in Qinghai-Tibet plateau and Sanjiang region.

③exploration geochemistry:

based on geochemical theory and geochemical exploration methods, to explore concealed ore deposits. The research works focus on exploration of hydrothermal ore deposits.
