Experience

Research history: Dr. Wei was awarded his Ph.D. in 2011 for the research on polysaccharide-based micro/nano drug delivery system. He continued his work at National Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering in IPE and got an exceptional promotion to Associate Prof. in 2013. His research now focuses on the preparation of novel micro/nano materials for anti-tumor application, including early diagnose, smart delivery, gene therapy, and vaccine immunotherapy. He has published more than 40 SCI papers, such as ImmunityJACS, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Biomaterials, Small, Chemical Communications, Journal of Materials Chemistry, and Nanomedicine.
