Research Areas

My research focuses on the study of multiscale flow and transport processes in spatially heterogeneous systems consisting of complex geometries. I apply theoretical, experimental and computational analysis to model their dynamical behavior and investigate the coupling of multi-physics. I received B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Central South University, China, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the San Diego State University and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from University of California, San Diego (Joint Doctoral Program). I was a postdoc researcher at Energy Resources Engineering, Stanfrod University.
