研究领域

植物的叶片是如何发育成特定形态结构的,以及在演化过程中其形态和结构的多样性是如何产生的,一直以来都是植物科学家十分关注的基本科学问题。早在2300年前,古希腊生物学家、植物学之父Theophrastus就关注到种子植物中千姿百态的复叶形态。
目前的研究主要围绕大豆、豌豆、鹰嘴豆和苜蓿等重要豆科模式植物和作物,结合复叶模式植物十字花科碎米荠和茄科番茄,通过正向和反向遗传学,结合发育、细胞、分子、生化、组学、基因工程、植物活体成像以及进化分析等研究手段,解析不同复叶形态的发育和分子调控机制,深入探索植物复叶形态多样性的成因;也为改良农作物相关农艺性状提供依据。
