本人主要从事热带、亚热带森林鸟类保护生态学研究。开展鸟类繁殖生态野外监测，记录鸟类筑巢、育雏及繁殖成效，量化气候、人为扰动等环境因子对鸟类繁殖适合度的驱动作用；依托标准化样线调查与红外相机持续监测，解析异质生境下鸟类群落组成、空间分异及季节动态格局。围绕珍稀鸟类栖息地维持、修复与社区共管模式开展研究，探寻社区经济发展与生物多样性保护协同推进的路径；沿森林鸟类食物链营养级梯度追踪重金属等污染物在鸟类体内的富集特征及其生理响应，为区域鸟类保育工作提供基础观测数据与理论支撑
