
Kailan Tian is currently an associate professor at Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. degree of Economics from University of Groningen and a second Ph.D. degree of Management from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His academic efforts for quantitative economics, input-output modelling, global value chains, and climate change economics, have resulted in 30+ publications in high-impact journals, international conferences and committee invites. He received positive feedbacks from main leaders of Chinese central government and letters of commendation from Ministry of Commerce of China. His written evidence on net zero emissions and trade was accepted by the UK Parliament.
