Dr. Hongjie Yao got his Ph.D. degree in Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. From 2005 to 2011, Dr. Yao received his postdoc training in Pennsylvania State University and National Institutes of Health, USA, to studying chromatin organization and epigenetic regulation on cancer biology. From November 2011, Dr. Yao was recruited to join Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Science, as "Hundred Talent program" of CAS. Then he focuses on studying epigenetic regulation in stem cell biology. Dr. Yao published more than 20 papers in the high profile journals, including Cell Stem Cell, Nature Genetics, Nature Cell Biology, Genes & Development, Nature Communications, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Cell Death & Disease and so on.
